On your device. Your video stays on your device. It is never uploaded.
How to convert a video
- Choose a video: MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV and more.
- Pick the output: MP4 that plays everywhere, MP4 that keeps the codec, WebM, MP3, M4A or GIF.
- Press Convert and download the result.
Which format should I choose?
MP4 (most compatible) uses H.264 and AAC, which play on every phone, computer, TV and website. Choose it when you're not sure.
MP4 (keep codec) copies the video without re-encoding when it can, so there is no quality loss and it finishes in seconds. iPhone videos stay HEVC, which some older Windows PCs and Android phones can't play.
WebM (VP9 and Opus) suits websites. MP3 and M4A save only the audio. GIF makes a silent, looping animation of up to 60 seconds.
Your video never leaves your device
Most online video tools upload your file to their servers, process it there and keep it for hours. This tool runs entirely in your browser: the video is read, processed and saved on your device, and nothing is uploaded. There are no ads, no watermark and no sign-up.
Phones write the GPS location and the camera model into every video. Those details are removed by default; untick "Remove location and device info" to keep them.
