Formats, privacy and limits
JPEG and WebP use lossy quality settings. PNG is re-encoded losslessly and may not get smaller; choose WebP explicitly if a PNG cannot meet your target. Dimensions never change here.
Static JPEG, PNG and WebP only. For HEIC, GIF, SVG, animated images or resizing, use Image Converter .
Re-encoded images discard original metadata. Unchanged originals retain their metadata. Files and filenames are not sent to analytics. Nothing is uploaded or saved by this tool.
Up to 8 megapixels per image and 32 MiB of results per batch. Files are processed one at a time. Browser encoding may finish its current operation before cancellation takes effect.
Size targets use decimal units: 1 KB = 1,000 bytes; 1 MB = 1,000,000 bytes. Input limits use 25 MiB per file and 100 MiB per batch.
